OMG!!! I haven't blogged in a looooog time. first, I have a new store!!! YAY !!! doing much better here. it is at 1609 Union Street in Schenectady NY. My mom just bought me a great new sewing machine- an early Christmas present- woo hoo!!! I have been making alot of new slip covered pieces using vintage chenille bedspreads and mixing it up with new fabric, vintage brush and pom pom trim. They are just soooo much fun and really wonderful looking. I wanted to share with you my lovely creations. I hope you enjoy seeing them :-)

  3. I am so happy I found you!! I have my grandmother's chair and ottoman from around the 1940s. Originally it was covered in a plum chenille fabric. I loved it as a child and it was given to me when she passed away a long time ago. About 15 years ago I had it reupholstered and was never really happy with the way it looked and have looked for many years to have it done back the way it was originally! I absolutely love your chenille slipcovers. I live in Florida. I am not sure how it would work to have one made, but I am absolutely interested!!!!
